2017 in Review
A huge thank you to everyone that has participated in the P&C and supported P&C events this year.
From sausage sizzles and cupcake stalls, volunteering in the canteen and uniform shop and a disco too, combined with the P&C voluntary contribution fee we have raised funds to cover the installation of air conditioning in six classrooms and completed phase one of the refurbishment the Adventure Playground.
Both of these ventures have directly benefited the children at school and combined these two projects have come in at just over $35,000.
We are excited that there are some exciting fund raising events already in place for 2018 and we look forward to seeing new faces and our first meeting in 2018, Tuesday 20 February in the school Library from 7:30pm.
Thank you for your ongoing support during 2017.
Spring Fair 2013
What a fantastic Spring Fair last Saturday! The consensus from parents, staff and students seems to be that it was the best yet.
Wonderful organisation from the P&C team; armies of parent, teacher and student volunteers; a dazzling variety of stalls, food and entertainment, all combined with perfect weather made for a terrific day for all the family. Congratulations to all involved and HUGE thanks to everyone who gave of their own time, but especially Jennifer S and the P&C for their impeccable organisation and preparation for the big day.
The main purpose of the Fair was to raise funds to enhance the educational experiences and opportunities for the children at Narrabeen Lakes Public School - that goal was certainly achieved. Another aim was simply to provide fun and entertainment for the students, the Narrabeen Lakes community and beyond. Judging by the happy smiles and countless positive comments from so many people on the day, I think that we ‘hit the ball out of the park' in that regard. Naturally, the success of the whole event underscored and advertised to the wider community what a great school Narrabeen Lakes is!
