At Narrabeen Lakes, children from year 2 to year 6 have the opportunity to join the school recorder group. The school has two groups that practice at lunch times. The school has a beginner group that learn the fundamental skills of recorder playing and a second group that practice for a combined schools performance at the Opera House.
