School band

Narrabeen Lakes Public School offers students in years 3 – 6 the opportunity to participate in a high quality and engaging band program led by our passionate new Band Director Sasha Stocken.  The extra-curricular three band program caters for all abilities from complete beginners to experienced musicians.  Band members will have many opportunities to perform throughout the year.  There will also be a half day band workshop in the middle of the year. 

Rehearsal times for 2017 are:

Training Band:  Wednesday 8am – 9am

Concert Band: Thursday 8am – 9am

Performance Band:  Tuesday 8am – 9am and Thursday 3.15pm – 4.15pm.

Fees:  Training Band and Concert Band fees for 2017 are $320 per year.  Performance Band fees for 2017 are $380 per year.  Instrument hire is available for $150 per year.

Tutors:  Parents must arrange and pay for weekly private tuition.  Please refer to the following link for preferred tutors.

Uniform:  Parents must provide black pants, black socks, and black school shoes.  A band shirt will be provided by the band committee.
