Narrabeen Lakes Public School offers students in Years 3 – 6 the opportunity to participate in a high quality and engaging band program led by our band director (and school music teacher) Jennifer Power. The extra-curricular band program caters for all abilities from complete beginners to experienced musicians. Band members will have many opportunities to perform throughout the year. There will also be a band workshop held in Term 1
Rehearsal times for 2023 are:
Training Band: Monday and Wednesday 8am – 9am
Senior Band: Tuesday 8am – 9am and Thursday 8.30am – 9am.
Jazz Band: Thursday 3:30pm
Fees: Band fees are $450 per year, which includes the workshop fee. Instrument hire is available for $100/year, in the first year and $150/year for all subsequent years.
Tutors: Parents must arrange and pay for weekly private tuition. Please refer to this list of recommended tutors:
