In exciting news, I am delighted to announce that all students from Kindergarten to Year 6 will be studying Mandarin (Chinese) from Week One of Term Three. I am also very pleased to announce that Mrs Alex Chen has been employed as our new Chinese language teacher. Mrs Chen will work with us on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday every week, teaching 30-45 minute lessons on language and culture to classes from Kindergarten to Year 5. Ms Lucianne Watson from Narrabeen Sports High School will continue her outstanding work teaching Mandarin to 6C and 5/6M. Mrs Chen has many years of experience delivering Chinese language programs in several Sydney primary schools and we are very lucky to have her on our team. I am sure that you will join me in welcoming Mrs Chen to our great school. |
